Mail Rule Finder

You are concerned that too many users have mail rules set up to forward some or all incomming mail to another email address. You would like a way to determine which mail files or mail-in databases have these types of rules enabled on a particular mail server.

The purpose of this tool is to help administrators search mail files and/or mail-in databases that contain "send copy to"

mail rules which can cause a strain on the mail router. There are plenty of technotes showing how to disable the sending
of emails generated by these types of mail rules, but in some use cases there will be some users who will need to have
the ability to create these types of mail rules, and shutting them down completely is not ideal. The tool will create or append
to a log file that will output information in a comma separated format. No other modifications to the mail files or mail-in
databases are performed.

Requirements

Current id of the user running the tool must have at least reader access to the mail files and mail-in databases

Please sign all design elements with your admin id first to avoid any ECL alerts.

Please read the About page to get more information about using the tool.

Using the tool

1. Enter a server name or choose from the names list

2. Choose which type of rule condition you would like to search

3. Choose the rule action option you would like to search

4. Press the search button which will ask you to choose a file to save the results
